VACANCY for a Multidisciplinary residential /kitchen helper at the Residence of Ambassador (m/f/x)

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Astana is looking for Multidisciplinary residential /kitchen helper at the Residence of the Belgian Ambassador. Under the management of the Ambassador your position consists of:
• Being responsible for the cleanliness of the residence and its surroundings;
• Organisation of the kitchen in order to ensure a smooth service of meals for guests and offer them a simple menu or when appropriate, support an external service (caterer, catering, chef etc.);
• Taking into account the information provided by the head of mission or the person responsible for the management of the event in order to be able to offer an adapted menu to guests and residents (Strict compliance to hygiene rules, taking note of any allergies and/or dietary requirements and adapting the menu accordingly etc).

Your profile:
• Professional experience: at least 12 years of professional experience at the Residences of foreign diplomates;
• Qualities: You are able to work independently and proactively in a small team and culturally diverse environment. You are flexible, and ready to sometimes work out of office hours or under stress. You have strong ethical principles, including discretion, integrity, decency and confidentiality, punctuality.
We offer a competitive salary package (gross monthly salary starting from 327 778.92 KZT, 13th-month pay, private medical insurance, 24 days off + 14 official days off…). The position consists of 40 working hours/week.
The selected candidate will be hired for a period of 1 year, renewable.
