On Sunday 1 December, the XII Annual Christmas Charity Bazaar of the Astana Diplomatic Spouses Asssociation will take place at @Radisson in Nur-Sultan.
Chocolates, baked waffles and beer will be available at the Belgian Embassy’s stand.
Also this year the Embassy will be selling tickets for the raffle where great prizes can be won.

On 30.09.2019 the Ambassador of Belgium in Nur-Sultan Alexis de Crombrugghe met in Aktau on the Caspian sea the akim of Mangistau oblast Mr Serikbay Trumov. With the latter's team and Mrs Mussakanova of Awex Almaty developments in ports, fisheries aquaculture, agriculture, as well as renewable energy from waste were discussed, all sectors where Belgian companies can offer added value. The fish company "Kazakh sturgeon" was also visited.
The Ambassador of Belgium in Nur-Sultan has visited on October the 1st the port of Kuryck, where a Belgian dredging company deepened the seaport and where new opportunities could arise in the future.

The 1st of October, Ambassador of Belgium, Mr. Alexis de Crombrugghe and Mrs. Aïzhan Mussakanova, Awex Almaty, have visited the port of Aktau on the Caspian sea, special economic zone (SEZ) and the galvanization company for pipelines in Aktau.

On October the 2nd, Ambassador of Belgium in Nur-Sultan, Mr. Alexis de Crombrugghe with his wife and Mrs. Aïzhan Mussakanova, AWEX representative in Almaty, met with the akim of the Atyrau region, Mr. Nurlan Nogaev, as well as with the akimat members, representatives of the Chamber of commerce and Social entrepreneurship corporations (SPK). The presence and development of Belgian companies in the region, as well as the commemoration of a kazakh veteran who helped liberate Belgium in 1944, which was held on October the 4th, were discussed.
The Royal Palace organized on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Elisabeth a moving ceremony in presence of representatives of the Federal government and of the federated entities, but also of young Belgians of the same age. The princess affirmed being available to serve her country. She honored her parents, their Majesties the King and the Queen, but also her brothers and sister with whom she declared making a team. The princess continues her studies abroad.
On 19 and 20 September 2019 the Ambassador organized a team building with the entire Embassy team as well as colleagues from our Honorary Consulate and those from our AWEX commercial office in Almaty.
The group of colleagues visited the Mount Shymbulak, Kok-tobe and the "Great Lake" of Almaty. This trip was a real opportunity to strengthen the existing links between our offices in Almaty and the Embassy in Nur-Sultan. Two intense days, but well appreciated by all of us!
