From June 7 to 9, the Belgian Economic Mission to the USA, led by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, representing His Majesty the King, will be in New York for contacts with businesses and public officials in order to explore opportunities to strengthen the strong and cordial partnerships between Belgium and the United States.
From June 4 to 6, HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, representing the His Majesty the King, will lead the Belgian economic mission to the USA to its first stop in Atlanta, Georgia. Several visits to businesses and with public officials are scheduled in order to explore opportunities to strengthen the partnerships between Belgium and the United States.
The United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (UNCTED) paid a working visit to Belgium from May 31 to June 4, with the objective of monitoring Belgium's implementation of UN counter-terrorism resolutions and assessing Belgian counter-terrorism policy. This committee also evaluates the cooperation between UN member states and disseminates best practices in the field of counter-terrorism.
